Membership

The League welcomes your participation. We meet the third Wednesday of each month, September through May. Our meetings are at 6:30pm at Hartley Nature Center, 3001 Woodland Ave in Duluth.

Your membership is welcome. This will provide you a chance to meet and work with locals "Ikes." Your local membership includes membership in the regional and national Izaak Walton League organizations, plus additional benefits.

There are five membership categories.  Please select your amount in the box to the right. 

• Individual - $69

• Family - $94

• Student - $15

• Life member annual dues - $19*

*Life Memberships - these memberships are only $19 annually after the initial Life Membership dues are paid 

• Individual Life - $1000

• Family Life - $1500

Dues proceeds go to the National organization, State Division, and to the general expenses, youth programs and conservation activism of this Chapter. 

We host an annual banquet each spring which is a major funding source for this Chapter. Our June meeting is the annual picnic.

Besides attending meetings, members may be involved in one or more of our standing committees on Conservation Issues, Sustainability, Youth Programs, Communications, Membership or the Banquet. The Chapter also uses volunteers to put on the annual Spring and Fall Youth Outdoor Expos to provide outdoor experiences for youth.

Outdoor America: You will receive our quarterly magazine with award-winning conservation articles you won't read anywhere else plus advocacy updates and success stories from League members around the country.

Reports and Newsletters: You can also receive several newsletters and reports each year that cover specific issues such as watershed conservation and sustainability education.

Online Advocacy: Through our Web site, you can sign up for Action Alerts to be notified when important legislation needs your support. You can also access our Conservation Action Center, a powerful tool that allows you to contact your elected officials directly.

Discounts: Members receive discounts on publications and materials offered by the League.
